am so happy you are here. My name is Shelby Chreene! I am a 21 year old girl from Texas. I am the middle child in a ridiculously loving family (truly my greatest blessing). Ever since I was young I have always loved story telling and expressing myself through words on paper. As a young child it took the form of fanciful stories, which eventually took the shape of love letters, and then poetry, which became extensive journal entries. Sure, most of these excerpts could be considered diary worthy. You know ooey-gooey personal sappy stuff. But to me, that is the stuff that truly matters. These are the topics that we convince ourselves we are alone in and are too taboo to talk about. As I’ve grown, I have come to realize that in reality, such experiences are the ones that are most common among humans.
So here I am, creating a digital diary for me to compile all of the Whispers of my Heart. If you stick around you can prepare yourself for topics of faith, wellness, emotions, and the reality of walking through this life as a 21 year old God fearing girl.
My prayer for you is that you can retreat to this space in moments of confusion or pure joy and leave feeling refreshed, seen, uplifted, loved, and above all else not alone in this little life.
